Yay for Today

I am happy to report that a couple wonderful things happened today. 1st- every morning we get a print out of all his counts (white blood cells, hemoglobin, platelets, ANC #, and tons more) Well this morning the % of his white blood cells that were monocytes was up. The Dr explained that that is the first sign of numbers starting to trend up. He said that we might get to go home for a few days at the end of the week! 2nd- Mac got taken off his IV fluids for hydration. They said that he is getting enough hydration from nursing! So… that means he won’t be hooked up to a machine 24/7, just when he needs meds or transfusions. (For this cycle at least) I think that they will come weigh him tomorrow but I don’t feel like he’s lost weight in the last 2 days. He only threw up once today. Now hopefully we can get some sleep tonight because I bet I slept less than 3 hours total last night!
